(She/Her/Hers)
Life can get difficult. We can find ourselves holding the weight of thoughts and feelings, neglecting our boundaries, or not being able to communicate our needs. But we all have one thing in common, we hold the power to begin the conversation, to sit in the uncomfortable, to foster the opportunity for growth.
Throughout my life I’ve always been drawn to supporting others in need. Naturally, my educational pursuits reflected this purpose, as I began my professional career working with children and individuals with diverse developmental needs. This continued interest for understanding human development was persued by obtaining a Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.
I strive to support individuals through a collaborative approach with the goal of achieving self compassion, and the development of strategies for recognizing and changing maladaptive patterns. This Person-Centered framework integrates solution focused and narrative therapies with the goal of supporting clients in gaining a better self-awareness in effort to overcome struggles with; relationship issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, stress, behavioural issues, as well as emotional distress such as anxiety or depression.
I look forward to embarking with you on this journey.
